I spent most of my money on boats and beer, the rest I just wasted.

I currently carry a Honda EU2200iTA1 Companion generator on my Gemini.

Prior to that, when I owned my C25 I had the standard Honda 2000. We used it a few times. But because the C25 didn't have air conditioning, I ended up installing better batteries, an 80 watt solar panel and a 1000 watt inverter. That worked well enough to power a coffee maker, toaster and recharge laptops and other items.

The reason I choose the Honda EU2200iTA1 Companion model, now, is because it has a 30 amp shore power plug. I can use my shore power cord and plug it directly into the boat. After installing a Micro Air EasyStart, it will even run my 12K air conditioner.

Not cheap though. Purchased it online at Northern Tool. IIRC, at the time, free shipping and had a 100.00 gift cert for other items.

I have a Honda EU2000 that works very well. Portable and is quiet enough for me. Has the Eco setting so it runs the speed that is required for what you are powering and not any higher. There are many knock offs now that are just as quiet and are not as pricey as the Honda.

Or as reliable...the Hondas are worth the extra $$$
